LED Light Therapy Facial
The Dermalux Flex MD is a type of LED light therapy device used for skin rejuvenation and various skin conditions. LED stands for Light Emitting Diode, and in this therapy, specific wavelengths of light are emitted to stimulate the skin cells and promote healing and rejuvenation.
The Dermalux Flex MD is a flexible, hands-free LED panel that can be easily positioned and adjusted to target specific areas of the face or body. It uses three different wavelengths of light: red, blue, and near-infrared.
Red Light
The red light stimulates collagen production, improves blood circulation, and reduces inflammation. It helps with anti-aging, fine lines, and wrinkles, as well as promoting overall skin health.
Blue Light
The blue light targets acne-causing bacteria and helps to control breakouts. It has antibacterial properties that can reduce acne inflammation and improve the appearance of acne-prone skin.
Near-Infrared Light
The near-infrared light penetrates deeper into the skin, promoting wound healing, reducing inflammation, and providing relief for conditions such as rosacea and eczema. It also helps with pain management and can be used for post-treatment recovery.

During a Dermalux Flex MD treatment, the skin is first cleansed to remove impurities. The patient is then positioned comfortably, often lying down, while the flexible LED panel is adjusted to target specific areas. The treatment typically lasts 20 to 40 minutes, during which the patient is exposed to different wavelengths of light, felt as a warm, soothing sensation.
There is no downtime after an LED tretament. You can resume your normal activities immediately after the procedure. However, it is important to protect your skin with sunscreen and avoid excessive sun exposure.
