What Makes Plexr® Facial Different from Microneedling
Plexr shower and microneedling are both non-invasive cosmetic procedures designed to improve skin appearance but utilize different techniques. Plexr shower, or Plasma Exeresis, employs plasma energy to stimulate the skin's healing processes, effectively tightening skin, reducing wrinkles, and removing lesions without direct contact. The procedure creates tiny plasma arcs on the skin's surface, leading to rejuvenation with minimal recovery time, usually involving slight swelling or redness that resolves quickly.
In contrast, microneedling uses fine needles to create micro-injuries in the skin, promoting collagen and elastin production. This technique is beneficial for treating scars, fine lines, wrinkles, and enhancing overall skin texture. Microneedling can be enhanced with serums or PRP (platelet-rich plasma) for improved results. Recovery typically involves redness and swelling akin to a mild sunburn, which subsides within a few days.
