PRP Hair Restoration

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) hair restoration is a non-surgical procedure that utilizes the patient's own blood to stimulate hair growth and address hair loss or thinning. It is based on the concept that platelets in the blood contain growth factors and other bioactive substances that can promote tissue regeneration and healing.

During the PRP hair restoration procedure, a small amount of blood is drawn from the patient. The blood is then processed in a centrifuge machine to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the rest of the blood components. The platelet-rich plasma, which is concentrated with growth factors, is then injected into the scalp in the areas experiencing hair loss or thinning.

The growth factors in the platelet-rich plasma stimulate the hair follicles, increase blood supply to the follicles, and promote the production of collagen and other proteins. This, in turn, can lead to improved hair density, thickness, and overall hair growth.

PRP hair restoration is a versatile treatment that can be used for various types of hair loss, including androgenetic alopecia (pattern baldness) and certain types of alopecia areata. It is suitable for both men and women.
